Four generations of the Peterson family have produced successful results for our clients in the real estate marketplace. MJ Peterson's corporate values continue to focus on the principles of integrity and professionalism. Following the stock market crash of the late 1920's, Marvin John Peterson came to Buffalo from Detroit in search of new opportunities. Marvin Peterson had a vision: To build strong neighborhoods based on family values.
Today - more than 90 years later — at MJ Peterson, we are still grounded in those principles. Since our inception, we have been involved in a broad range of projects beginning with the development of some of Buffalo's oldest neighborhoods; adding starter-home projects in Tonawanda and Amherst following World War II; contributing to moderate and low-income HUD-sponsored housing developments; and construction of luxury condominiums.
Through the years, MJ Peterson has built more than 6,000 single-family homes. We have built and own over 3,000 conventional and government-assisted apartments, single family and duplex homes; luxury condominiums and family and senior housing developments.
